We are committed to being the best in the business — and the perfect puppy people.About the RoleWe're looking for a data-driven, customer-obsessed Lifecycle Marketing Manager to build and scale our customer lifecycle marketing strategy. In this role, you'll own programs that increase customer conversion, email/SMS engagement, and lifetime value across the entire customer journey — from lead nurture through post-purchase advocacy and referral. You'll primarily leverage email, SMS, and HubSpot, but we're looking for someone who thinks beyond channels and tools. If there's a better way to reach customers and drive results, we want you to find it.This is an opportunity to build and optimize lifecycle programs from the ground up, working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Experience, and Analytics to create personalized customer experiences that drive measurable business growth.What You'll DoOwn the lifecycle marketing strategy across the entire customer journey from lead acquisition through post-purchase advocacy and referral.Independently identify, propose, and own strategic email and SMS initiatives beyond day-to-day tactical sends; you drive the roadmap, not just execute requests.Own and continuously improve our HubSpot instance (workflows, segmentation, lists, and reporting) proactively identifying opportunities to improve deliverability and campaign performance.Develop automated customer journeys, segmentation strategies, and personalized messaging based on customer behavior and data.Launch and optimize post-purchase communications, ancillary upsell campaigns, and referral and advocacy programs.Partner with Acquisition teams, Product, Sales, Customer Experience, and Analytics to deliver seamless customer experiences.Continuously improve performance through A/B testing, incrementality testing, and data-driven experimentation.Analyze campaign performance and customer behavior to identify new growth opportunities and communicate actionable insights.Champion a test-and-learn culture by constantly experimenting with new ideas, channels, and strategies.What You'll Need5+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or email/SMS marketing, ideally within a B2C business with a lead-generation funnel and a high-consideration, infrequent purchase cycle (e.g., real estate, automotive, financial services).Hands-on experience owning HubSpot (or a comparable marketing automation platform): building workflows, managing lists and segmentation, and reporting on performance.Proven track record designing and scaling automated, behavior-triggered customer journeys.Strong analytical skills; comfort working in Excel/Sheets and pulling insights from campaign and CRM data.Experience running structured A/B and incrementality tests, with the judgment to translate results into action.A bias toward ownership: you spot opportunities and bring proposals forward rather than waiting for direction.Excellent written communication; you'll be writing and refining customer-facing copy as well as briefing cross-functional partners.What Success Looks LikeYou'll be successful by driving measurable improvements in:Lead-to-customer conversionEmail and SMS engagement (opens, clicks, and deliverability)Customer lifetime value (LTV)Incremental revenue generated through lifecycle marketing initiativesWhy You'll Love This RoleOwn and build a best-in-class lifecycle marketing program with significant autonomy and visibility.Make a measurable impact on customer acquisition, advocacy, and customer lifetime value.Experiment, innovate, and bring new ideas to life in a data-driven, test-and-learn environment.Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Experience, and Analytics to shape the customer journey.Join a high-performing, collaborative team that values ownership, curiosity, feedback, and continuous improvement.Competitive base 100k-125kWhy You'll Love It HereCompetitive base salaryFully remote (U.S.-based)Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO, paid holidays, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Friends & Family discount on PuppySpot puppiesThe opportunity to help families find their perfect puppy while driving meaningful business growthA collaborative, mission-driven culture where your ideas have a real impactAnd yes... you get to work with people who love puppies as much as you do.
