About The RoleThe Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the Bank's marketing efforts to promote its culture, products, services, and brand while delivering a positive and consistent customer experience across multiple channels. This role oversees a team of marketing professionals, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure high-quality, timely, and effective marketing initiatives. The Marketing Manager builds strong working relationships across the organization to maintain brand integrity and deliver consistent, innovative marketing materials and communications. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. The Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring marketing activities support business objectives, enhance customer engagement, and contribute to the Bank's overall success.This position can be located in one of the following Bank offices: Addison, Mount Pleasant, TexarkanaDuties And ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management ResponsibilitiesCoach, mentor and lead a multi-unit teamEstablish priorities, assign work, and monitor project completion. Conduct coaching, performance reviews, and career development discussions.Manage workload allocation and vendor utilization.Ensure department service levels are meeting business partner expectations.Marketing Planning & ExecutionDevelop and implement marketing strategies for social, digital, and media marketing, along with other special events and public relationsAssist with department budget planning and monitoringManage campaign and promotional budgets relating to marketing initiativesImplement marketing strategies including campaigns, social media, events, digital marketing and PR campaigns tied to achieve overall goals of the strategy and annual budget managementManage relationships with agencies, consultants, vendors, and community partners.Maintain consistent brand standards across all channels and locations. Review and approve marketing collateral, advertisements, signage, presentations, and community sponsorship materials.AnalyticsMeasure the ROI on approved marketing campaigns and various advertising methods to evaluate overall performanceReport on lead generation and make recommendations on improvements or changesServe as the lead for the Marketing Committee preparation report and facilitate the meeting.ComplianceComply and ensure compliance with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protectionComply and ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and proceduresTimely complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned, along with other department leader expectationsPerform any additional duties and tasks assigned by managementAbout YouQualifications & Skills:Excellent leadership and motivational skillsWorking experience in the banking industry Position requires travel- up to 40%, sometimes overnight trips will be requiredExcellent analytical skills, including utilization of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheetsIn-depth knowledge of various marketing platforms in both digital and print medias.Ability to remain professional and composed, including in high-pressure situations; display a sense of urgency as needed to ensure requests are completed timely and within service level agreementsAbility to apply strategic planning and problem solving techniques to complex issues and changing variablesDemonstrate self-motivation; productive, efficient, organized, accurate work output while working independently and within a team environmentLead by example by consistently delivering dependable coaching, mentoring and leadership qualities to company staff and direct reportsUp-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsEducation, Experience & LicensesBachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field or related experienceA minimum of 1-3 years experience in a management position preferredMinimum of 5+ years in a marketing department or related position and experienceWORK ENVIRONMENT: Typically Office EnvironmentPHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
